I wrote a bunch today for the webcomic. I can't say what because its so so rudimentary and spoiler-y but I do have notes I can share about the Brotherhood, the baddies and a group of witchhunters chasing our main characters. See my rough notes below:

• They can't detect magic but they can detect its side effects based on sudden power surges, distortions, unnatural growths, audio distortions, etc.
• On the field they use smart watches with biometric locks since magic can cause miniature body rhythm deviations
• Its close but not perfect
• The brotherhood also use witch parts to see what responds to each body part to detect magic maybe?
• Familiars were also turned into surveillance drones
• Brotherhood also wear pins that can prevent witches from inducing aneurysms?
• They also have a directory of witches they track
• They of course hijack smart devices, traffic cams, use backdoors
• They also take drugs to suppress their fear and emotion so they're less prone to witch induced suggestions, illusions, or seduction
• Thermal goggles or just diff goggles to detect odd changes in temperature

Hey all this talk about the price of eggs is reminding me of Ms. Censordoll in Moral Orel. Such. A. Good. Show. A doodle become a rough little drawing. Posting it here since it doesn't totally align with the aesthetic of my art posts but I felt like sharing in some way. Rip the hand. I had to stop drawing because I need to work agh.

On the note of adult cartoon shows, I watched 2 episodes of "Common Side Effects." So far I like it. Neat little art style and I like the pacing and characters. It feels gentle and tender despite the action elements.

Hey, Ghouls.

As you might have seen, I've been working on these characters since I posted this art:

I've been slowly cooking up an idea of a human woman coming across an ancient eldritch god and in exchange for power and success, the woman has to bring blood. The one on the left is the eldrich who slowly becomes more powerful with more blood and flesh while the one on the right is our main character. Based in a city, basically an urban horror story with some weird toxic monster romance maybe hm...

It's still sort of hazy. BTW if anyone has any ideas of what to name these two, I'm down for some ideas/inspo. Lmk!

I didn't think this was enough for an art post which is why I'll post this concept art here. A little monster idea I'm fleshing out.

EDIT: I realized the image got compressed HARD once I uploaded so here's the text I have:

IN NYC Succubi are highly intelligent lone hunters 

who stalk their prey and only make contact with their

prey once they can kill. They often meet their prey in

high end bars or restaurants in their Transformed state. 

However, the Transformed state expends considerable

energy and only lasts for one night which influences

succubi hunting patterns. Succubi spend most of their 

time in nests in their Catepillar state. Once they find a

target, they use their energy to enter Cocoon state to

transform into their final Transformed state to hunt.
